What Level Are You?
Identifying natural divisions in the SUP Surf learning curve we remove the guesswork and lay out four distinct levels. With a 4-level system our team groups like-ability SUP surfers together to offer the necessary and relevant SUP coaching to maximize your progression.
Here is what they have to say: We’ve got a YouTube channel and folks seem to be appreciating the paddle surf video tutorials and the feedback sessions. They’re organized by “playlist” and here’s the link:

We operate nearly 30 all inclusive paddle surf coaching weeks per year. Our Costa Rica spot is our home location however each year we offer a couple satellite camps to more intermediate and advanced SUP surfers that have already been with us in Costa Rica. Last year we went to Nicaragua and Fiji. This year we went to Nicaragua and have a week planned for El Salvador in the fall. This gives our guests that are experiencing new levels of progression an opportunity to take their surfing to new waves while still benefiting from both in and out of water coaching. It’s also a good time. Within all of that we also offer two specialty coaching weeks partnered with Dave Boehne and Infinity. It’s our standard operation with the benefit of Dave’s insight and in-water presence and personality. We’ve been doing that since 2013 and it’s been a great relationship.
Since our first week long paddle surf coaching week in 2012 we have taken more than 500 stand up athletes through our program. Each of the past couple years our return guest ratio has been between 36-38% so a number of those folks have stayed with us multiple times.
Infinity branded boards do make up the majority of our SUP quiver. They’re a mix between the Infinity RNB, the TL’s and the Wide Aquatics, a couple coaches also surf the BLine. We really like the RNB for paddle surf coaching because the outline allows for most folks to experience a shorter board without sacrificing stability. That reduced length also make them easier to pivot and position for the wave and the design makes them responsive to body movement changes our guests make after coaching. Additionally the carbon fiber construction keeps them light while being surprisingly durable. Our most commonly used board will be in the water 400+ hours per year.
Our paddles are all carbon fiber, most are the Hippostick Blurr blade but we do have a couple Werner Nitros in the mix.
For now that should show you enough to wet your appetite and you can click over to their site for the juicy details. Like I said on FaceBook, I plan to attend in 2019 once I recover from my recent medical thing. Back in the water soon as possible!!!
